Data Collection
BaseballScorer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All game scoring data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
Network Usage
The app connects to the MLB Stats API (statsapi.mlb.com) to:
- Fetch today’s game schedule
- Download team rosters and player statistics
- Retrieve play-by-play data for auto-fill features
These requests are made directly to MLB’s public API. No user data is sent. No API key or authentication is required. No intermediary servers are used.
Third-Party Services
BaseballScorer does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Data Storage
All scoring data (games, at-bats, lineups) is stored locally on your device. The app does not sync data to any cloud service. Deleting the app removes all stored data.
